Fleurish is a floral design studio in Philadelphia that specializes in eco-friendly events. Our mission is to make the decision of 'going green' a very simple one for our clients. We do this by not sacrificing creativity, drama or excitement in exchange for sustainability. Instead, we use it as a unique way to create cutting edge floral designs!
We are a sustainable business because we employ several techniques ranging from our choice of flowers and supplies to our business structure and strategy. Foremost, we purchase certified Veriflora, certified organic, certified fair trade and local flowers to offset the impact the cut floral industry has on the environment and 3rd world countries. In addition, we do not use floral foam, we avoid floral tape whenever possible and use materials that are biodegradable or recyclable. We employ a technique called wild-crafting by using natural resources from our local area including branches, herbs, wildflowers, fruits and vegetables to enhance our designs.
We focus on events only, so we can buy exactly what we need for our planned events, cutting down on the waste of over ordering. We compost all of our organic waste, recycle and do all of our printing on recycled paper with soy-based inks.
